After playing around with the words and looking up their definition the phrase "dystopian love nest" came together and I liked it.

Metal is my medium. Some of the materials im using for this project have been through a fire and have been crushed and twisted by large machines. A very appropriate start for my dystopian love nest.

Not unlike the way books boomerang out into the community and back to their library homes, The Komai sisters' journeys have taken us away, and then back again to Madison, and to the library. We documented various journeys with a series of library due date cards in a grid of library book pockets: 3 pockets x 3 pockets, mounted on a birch wood panel.
